Garfield ... The Real One !!

The cat in my apartment complex. She is so very cute. Whenever I sit outside, she comes and sits besides me. Sweet :)

In Rainbow

This picture was taken a couple of days ago from my department building at University of Arizona. The picture does not look even half as gorgeous as the actual sight.

[P.S. The name of the post alludes to In Rainbows album by Radiohead that I have been listening to since morning. And as a side note, those of you who love Brit Rock and Alternative, you should check out this album. All Radiohead fans like me would be obviously aware of it.]

Charming Tucson

Rain adds a fresh charm to otherwise modestly beautiful Tucson, Arizona. It has been raining for past two days. Along with a beautiful weather, the surroundings of the university have also become enchanting.

I could not resist taking a walk in this beautiful weather and took some snaps in and around the university.

Picturesque beauty ..

Long winding road ...

A little bit of orange, a little bit of green - Picture perfect

Can't help falling in love with this place ..

Rain rain come again ...

Welcome Winter

The sun is hiding behind the clouds. As if he is afraid of the majestic winter.

Finally winter has arrived with a bang in Tucson. There is no sunshine today. I could see faint sun rays, peeking out of the cracks in the clouds. The atmosphere is refreshing.

It is cold out there. Walking on the streets this morning evoked memories of last winter that I spent at various places. A few days in wet and cold Kansas city. Snowy Alta-Sierra in California. Chilling and drizzling days in Sacramento. And of course, first snow of Tucson. Good old days.

I have always loved winter season more than any other time of the year. Most people would disagree with me on this but I really find such mildly sunny atmosphere soothing and pleasant.

Breathing in cool air, enjoying gusto of mild breeze on my face, no other time of the year makes me this happy and cheerful.

Welcome to Tucson, Winter.
