I walked alone, O' I walked alone
Alone on the streets of life
Sometimes they're dark sometimes bright
Like a lone ranger, I climbed the heights
Roads of different kinds
Narrow winding roads merging into highways
Uphill climbs and smooth downhill slopes
Taking me nowhere and everywhere
Come O' my love, join me in my journey
You and me together, hand in hand
Careless of the world around us
We walk alone, O' we walk alone
Alone on the streets of life
Sometimes they're dark sometimes bright
Like a lone ranger, I climbed the heights
Roads of different kinds
Narrow winding roads merging into highways
Uphill climbs and smooth downhill slopes
Taking me nowhere and everywhere
Come O' my love, join me in my journey
You and me together, hand in hand
Careless of the world around us
We walk alone, O' we walk alone

Awesome poetry! I liked the second stanza best...the poem reminds me of the song Boulevard of Broken Dreams (Green Day).
The resemblance with Boulevard.. might not be totally coincidental I suppose. I think I had that song in my subconscious when I jotted down the words. Thanks for the appreciation :)
