Walk of life

I walked alone, O' I walked alone
Alone on the streets of life
Sometimes they're dark sometimes bright
Like a lone ranger, I climbed the heights

Roads of different kinds
Narrow winding roads merging into highways
Uphill climbs and smooth downhill slopes
Taking me nowhere and everywhere

Come O' my love, join me in my journey
You and me together, hand in hand
Careless of the world around us
We walk alone, O' we walk alone

There there - Radiohead

Radiohead's music is always so enigmatic and abstruse. It takes one in a different world of darkness with faint traces of sun-light. It is depressing but elevating at the same time. Look at the last line of this lyrics. "We are accidents waiting to happen!" ....
Or may be the accident has happened.....

In pitch dark I go walking in your landscape

Broken branches trip me as I speak
Just cos you feel it doesn't mean it's there
Just cos you feel it doesn't mean it's there
There's always a siren singing you to shipwreck (don't reach out, don't reach out [x2])
Stay away from these rocks we'd be a walking disaster (don't reach out, don't reach out [x2])
Just cos you feel it doesn't mean it's there (there's someone on your shoulder [x2])
Just coz you feel it doesn't mean it's there (there's someone on your shoulder [x2])
There there...
Why so green
And lonely [x3]
Heaven sent you
To me [x3]
We are accidents waiting
Waiting to happen
We are accidents waiting
Waiting to happen

Executive Dinner in Manhattan

I had the costliest dinner of my life today in a restaurant in Manhattan, NY. The name is 'Dawat Indian Cuisine', located on 58th St. and 3rd Ave.

I paid $35 for a 'Vegetarian Thali' !! My friend Shashvat and I had decided to treat each other as both of us had got full funding for next semester and it was the penultimate day of my internship at Bloomberg. A treat to a wonderful summer in NY !
